Family Overnight at Hammonasett State Park is back, and we have even
more camping space! Bring your family and/or your troop and come
spend the night with us at Hammonassett State Park. We will have the
campground reserved special just for Girl Scouts.
Pack your
tents and sleeping bags for an unforgettable Girl Scouts Love State
Parks Overnight Campout at Hammonasset Beach State Park! This year's
event is bigger and better than ever, with plenty of opportunities to
immerse yourself in nature, learn new skills, and bond with your
fellow Girl Scouts. Whether you're roasting marshmallows around the
campfire, exploring the park's beautiful trails, or stargazing on the
beach, this campout is the perfect way to experience the great
outdoors. The next morning, join us for exciting DEEP activities, and
make memories that will last a lifetime. Don't miss out on this
amazing adventure-let's camp out, explore, and make the most of this
incredible overight together! It's a chance to unwind, make new
memories, and work toward earning badges-all while enjoying the beauty
of the great outdoors!

Who Can Attend?
This event is open to all Girl
Scouts families and troops. You only need to register the Girl Scouts
in your family and everyone else is automatically included! Who is
your family? Why its everyone who lives in your household!!! We will
reach out after you register to see how many people that is and what
type of camping gear you might need to borrow from council - we have
plenty of tents, cooking gear and much more!

📌We will send an email survey after registration to gather details
about how many family members and cars you'll be bringing.
📌 Be
sure to bring your tent, sleeping bag, camp chair, and a creative
spirit for outdoor-inspired activities. We will have rental gear of
tents, cooking gear and stoves available for the weekend as
well.
📌 You are responsible for your own food, you can either
cook out or head to one of the many local resteraunts.
