Love horses? Of course!
Visit the horse stable, pet and groom the horses, spend time with them and learn a bit about these beautiful four-legged creatures. You will not ride horses at this event. This program is open to Girl Scouts who have completed 3rd grade (rising Girl Scout Juniors). Girl Scouts interacting with horses must wear closed toe, sturdy shoes (no open toes, no crocs, no sandals) and have long hair tied back. Adults attending will be allowed outside the corral only.
Adult supervision is required. All adults attending must have a registration for this event and must comply with all standards based on GSUSA and GSOFCT policies and procedures. Girl Scouts not attending with a troop must have a parent or guardian with current GSUSA membership register to attend with them. No tagalongs (siblings, unregistered adults) will be permitted to stay at this event.
