Get ready to sizzle, steam, and snack in the great outdoors! In Outdoor Skills: Campfire Cooking, Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies will step into the role of outdoor chefs as they learn how to prepare, assemble, and cook their very own delicious foil-pack meals over a campfire or charcoal. Girls will discover the basics of fire safety, outdoor cooking tools, and how to cook in nature using teamwork and creativity. This is a perfect chance for budding campers to gain confidence in outdoor skills, all while enjoying a warm, tasty treat they made themselves!
Key Activities:
- Learn fire safety and outdoor cooking basics
- Assemble and cook your own foil-pack meal
- Explore teamwork, outdoor responsibility, and "leave no trace" cooking clean-up

Who Can Attend?
Open to Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies. Troop attendance encouraged. Girl Scouts attending without a troop must be accompanied by a registered adult member.
Supervision
Adult supervision is required. All adults attending must have a registration for this event and must comply with all standards based on GSUSA and GSOFCT policies and procedures. Girl Scouts not attending with a troop must have a parent or guardian with current GSUSA membership register to attend with them. No tagalongs (siblings, unregistered adults) will be permitted to stay at this event. Please review ratios for supervision for Girl Scout events before registering for this event. Troop volunteers are encouraged to check GSUSA Safety Activity checkpoints for activities to ensure Girl Scouts are ready to participate.

Additional Notes
- Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes suitable for outdoor cooking (including layers if needed). Bring a reusable water bottle. All cooking supplies and food ingredients will be provided.
