Step into the world of fashion design and reimagine the Girl Scout uniform of the future! In this interactive program, Girl Scouts will explore fashion illustration, fabric selection, and basic sewing techniques as they design their own take on a Girl Scout uniform.

Designers will:

  • Practice Fashion Illustration: Sketch your own uniform concept using fashion illustration techniques.
  • Design for Girl Scout Lifestyle: Choose fabrics & colors that reflect function, style, and Girl Scout traditions.
  • Connect Past and Present: Discuss how uniforms have evolved and what makes a design both stylish and practical.

Completing this Badge Bound program will allow Senior Girl Scouts to earn their Textile Artists badge and Cadettes and Ambassadors can earn a fun patch, encouraging Girl Scouts to think like designers while celebrating the history and future of Girl Scout fashion!  Adults who register for this program will serve as hands-on volunteers. All volunteers will be expected to arrive early for a brief orientation and to assist actively throughout the program. Girl Scouts attending must have a signed Annual Consent Form and Health History Form with them or the volunteering adult from their Troop. Early registration closes on Feburary 9 at 5:00 PM ($20), and the final deadline to register is Feburary 22 at 5:00 PM ($25) - don't delay and register today!

This program needs at least 12-15 Girl Scouts to make the magic happen! If we don't reach that number, we may need to cancel-so invite a friend to join the fun!
