Ready, aim, discover! In this high-energy cosmic challenge, Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors will launch into a solar system-themed archery adventure. From aiming at orbiting planets to navigating asteroid belts, Scouts will test their aim and archery accuracy while exploring astronomy concepts in a fun and engaging format. Whether you're a beginner or have your sights set on the stars, this event is your ticket to aim high and reach for the cosmos!
Stellar Science Stations: Between rounds, explore the secrets of the
solar system. Interactive stations will include:
- Scale model
of the planets
- Match the moon phase game
- Solar trivia
spin wheel
Badge Alignment:
Cadettes - Archery Badge: Focuses on safety,
technique, and fun through target shooting and themed challenges.
Seniors and Ambassadors - Supports advanced archery skill development.
Who Can Attend? This event is open to Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors. Adult supervision is required. All adults attending must have a registration for this event and must comply with all standards based on GSUSA and GSOFCT policies and procedures. Girl Scouts not attending with a troop must have a parent or guardian with current GSUSA membership register to attend with them. No tagalongs (siblings, unregistered adults) will be permitted to stay at this event. Please review ratios for supervision for Girl Scout events before registering for this event. Troop volunteers are encouraged to check GSUSA Safety Activity checkpoints for activities to ensure Girl Scouts are ready to participate.
