Girl Scouts Love State Parks
Every September, Girl Scouts across the country celebrate Girl Scouts Love State Parks, a special outdoor event that encourages girls to discover the beauty of nature while building confidence, curiosity, and leadership skills. Whether you're hiking a trail, observing wildlife, exploring a new park, or participating in conservation activities, Girl Scouts Love State Parks is a chance to connect with the outdoors and experience all that Connecticut's state parks have to offer.
Who Can Participate?
Girl Scouts Love State Parks is open to all Girl Scout levels, from Daisy through Ambassador. Troops, independent Girl Scouts, and families are all encouraged to join the adventure. Choose a park, plan your own outing, or participate in a local event. However you explore, you'll be part of a nationwide celebration of the outdoors.
