Signature Events
From Encounter the Wild in October to Camp Sikorsky next September, our signature events bring Girl Scouts together across the state all year long. Girls dive into outdoor adventure, entrepreneurship, and life skills at can't-miss moments like GS Day at the Capitol, Older Girl Scout Conference , and the CT Gold Award Ceremony. Each event supports our mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character.
Youth Leadership
Leadership development is woven throughout the Girl Scout experience, growing alongside each girl's interests and age. Girls can earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold Leadership Awards, apply for the CEO Advisory Group or GSOFCT Board of Directors, or become a GSOFCT Brand Ambassador. Adventurous Girl Scouts can also set their sights on GSUSA destinations nationally or internationally. Explore all paths to leadership open to your Girl Scout this year.
Volunteer Support
Volunteers, prepare to plan troop meetings, outdoor adventures, and service projects so your girls can make the most of every opportunity. Sign up for essential trainings like First Aid/CPR/AED and Youth Mental Health, and mark key dates like our August Kick-Off Events. Planning now goes a long way toward a year of fun and growth.
