Stocking Stuffers for Malta House
Norwalk, CT — This holiday season, Girl Scouts turned compassion into action by organizing a special service project to benefit Malta House, a shelter in Norwalk that provides support for mothers and their babies.
The initiative focused on collecting stocking stuffers—small but meaningful items that bring joy and comfort during the holidays. From baby essentials to thoughtful gifts for moms, the donations were carefully chosen to brighten the season for families facing challenging circumstances.
Troop leaders emphasized that the project reflects the Girl Scout mission of making the world a better place. By combining generosity with holiday spirit, the scouts demonstrated how even simple acts of kindness can have a profound impact.
The gifts were delivered to Malta House, ensuring that mothers and babies feel cared for and celebrated during this special time of year. Through this effort, the scouts showed that service and empathy are at the heart of the season.
